Business analyst

Responsibilities: • Work for revenue recognition team under IFRS 15 for the group of companies allocated in the following regions: Europe Middle East, Africa, Asia, North America, Latin America • Revenue accountant is responsible for number of accounts (clients) and needs to go through the same cycle of work for all of them. Approximate number of handled accounts is 15-20, depends on difficulty of accounts • Revenue recognition per IFRS 15, including: • Analysis of agreements and appropriate set up on ERP • Update of set up on ERP if need, based on communication with PM/AM and PMO (including Program Review meetings and day to day communication) • Clarification unclear/complicated items with supervisor • Preparation of margin and/or profitability analysis, if need • Participation in month closing process in accordance with IFRS 15, including: • Participation in control procedures and providing explanations to supervisor for selected accounts • Calculation of revenue for the month in ERP system, based on automatic algorithm • Validation of results and addressing technical errors, if any to IT ERP group • Posting entries in ERP system • Preparing manual adjustments, if need. Posting them in all necessary systems • Explanation of differences in Flash report (AvF for the month) • Preparation of month closing reports and revenue forecasting • Unbilled revenue • Deferred revenue • Participation in SOW approval process: • Review of new deals (based on Matrix) • Address all necessary questions to SOW Approval Group • Coordination of process from finance side in order to close all risk items before final finance approval can be send out • Participation in calls with AM/PM/PMO/SAG or other specialists from Finance department in case of complicated issues in order to find a solution for finance risks or providing recommendations • Participation in upgrading of all financial procedures and systems, including ERP that is a homegrown system that has required extensive continuing development. • Develop new automation technics to reduce manual overrides and calculations of revenue • Participation in ERP enhancement projects, development of technical requirements, participation in UATs • Discovering of ERP bugs and cooperation with Business Analytics team to seek for new opportunities to minimize a number of ERP bugs

Responsibilities: • Data processing and systematization of Statement of Works and Purchase Orders in internal ERP system • Project setup in internal ERP • Ensuring correct allocation of budgetary information to project codes of external accounts in ERP • Working with engineering department on correct setup and maintenance of internal projects subset in ERP, ensuring internal peculiarities and rules were followed • Interaction with Project Managers regarding project issues (project access questions, project leadership setup) • Setting up and further administration of Work at Risk projects in internal ERP system, proper and timely communication with Project Management and senior-management of the company with regards to this (availability of the documents and approvals) • Training courses for Project Managers on basic principles of working with project codes in ERP system • Working with PMO and senior-management in defining company processes in terms of project/contract/ budget questions • Interaction with finance department regarding invoicing and revenue recognition questions • Preparation of reports for Sprint Project Management team and for Charter team • Maintaining of budget allocation spreadsheets for Virgin Media, British telecom accounts • Working with the contracts in JIRA and Ariba systems

Remote work Responsibilities: • Reports submission and preparation to public authorities (Pension Fund, Federal Tax Service, Social Insurance Fund) • Preparation of supporting documents (acceptance notes, invoices) • Accounting by the method of Simplified Tax System and Unified Tax on imputed income • Making payments by online banking • Payroll accounting • Personnel record keeping • Tracking payments to vendors • Posting and receiving calls
