System architecture leadership for LoRaWAN IoT solutions. • Developed predictive coverage solution and architecture for LoRaWAN gateways, which estimates RF propagation for LoRa access points and mesh network. Identified a vendor and negotiated pricing for high volume cloud based predictive coverage service. • Selected cellular modems and vendor, completed RFP process and negotiations, developed 3G support for TrackNet commercial IoT gateways. • Created architecture for LoRaWAN automated system regression testbed. • Researched satellite backhaul solution for LoRaWAN gateways for remote areas. • Developed compliance strategy for LoRa gateways including WiFi Alliance, 3G PTCRB/GCF and carrier, as well as LoRa certifications. Technical leadership and management for enterprise, IoT platforms and mobility team. • Built and led Wireless WAN mobility team which created first in the world enterprise class product line of 3G and 4G-LTE mobile and access solutions. • Created team directions and roadmap of 4G/LTE line of ISR platforms, which includes LPWA, IMS services, LTE QoS, SDN, eSIM/eUIICC, JavaCard SIM apps, ZTD, device management, cloud integration and products for LTE cat.6, and beyond, 5G. • Pioneered IoT architecture and created applications hosting architecture and M2M applications vision for mobile and IoT gateways for Cisco IOx. • Lead multiple prototyping projects: M2M cloud agent and Data-In-Motion (DMO) data analytics engine of Cisco IOx framework of the mobile router, Tail-F ConfD instrumentation using YANG models for managing 4G solutions in ISR-4K platforms, etc. • Championed in collaboration with ENG virtual platform team recovery of NFV platforms over integrated 4G NIM as well as external EIO modules.
