Project Engineer, Electrical Engineer

I am working for the Air Liquide Global Engineering & Construction (Moscow, Russia) - https://www.airliquide.com/engineering-construction During my work here I have changed several roles and worked in 2 Engineering Centers (most of the time in Moscow, in 2015 for 12 months in Frankfurt): As Project Engineer: FloxFill Moscow - station for filling cylinders (40 liters) and bundles (pack of 16 x 40l cylinders) with air gases and their mixtures: - Management of technical studies between centers (France, Russia) and subcontractors - Participation in development of Basic Design Documents in Project Team in Vitry, France (incl. Equipment list, Plot Layout, P&IDs, Electrical Consumer List) - Preparation of input data for ITB for the design and bid analysis - Management of Design Institute during preparation project documentation and detail design - Review and verification of technical documentation developed by Contractors - Support project documentation workflow to ensure its timely receipt, review as per Project schedule and its integration into Project Data Base - Participation in construction and commissioning supervision on site for 5 months FEED project - Methane-to-Methanol-to-Propylene Plant (during the assignment in Frankfurt am Main, Germany) - Technical coordination with client, disciplines and vendors - Support the interfaces between different disciplines - Preparation of the Action items list during the Weekly Team Meetings and its follow-up - Preparation of interdisciplinary documents (incl. Equipment Weights & Sizes list, list of applicable standards, Site Design Data) and procedures (Incl. Engineering Management Execution Plan, Freezing of key documents, Project Design Validation Plan) - Assist QA/QC in different documents checks, KPI tracking and reporting, collecting of “Lessons Learned” items - Preparation of Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Chemical Dosing Unit, follow-up of technical clarifications / negotiations with vendor As Project Coordinator: - Coordination (technical, financial and legal questions) between Customers (Russia) and Project Management Team (Champigny, France) - participation in weekly progress reviews with the client - Technical clarifications with Customer’s Design Subcontractor - Clarification of shipping documents with Customer - Preparation of documents for custom clearance - Coordination of erection and commissioning intervention - Preparation of contractual change-orders, certificates and invoices Projects: 2 x N2 Generators,3 x O2 VSA Units As Electrical Engineer: • Responsible for electrical part of EPC projects for ASU (Air Separation Units): support projects at Design (Basic and Detail) and construction stages; • Coordination between Customer, various E&C departments, external Design subcontractor, site works sub-contractors or AL supervisors related to electrical part • Review and approval of detailed design drawings (electrical part) • Preparation of technical RFQ specifications (scope of works and materials) to bid electrical site contractor, clarification with chosen Subcontractors; • Preparation of RFQ specifications (0.4kV and 10kV Switchboards, 10 kV induction motors, transformers) and technical Bid analysis; • Quality (as per ISO 9001) and technical audits at the manufacturer’s workshop, report preparation • Solved problem caused by deviation between Russian and Western Standard Codes

- Inspection and troubleshooting of AC/DC Motors, preparation of inspection reports - Customer technical support - Preparation of quotations for spare parts

- Maintenance, troubleshooting and reparation activities in CIS countries(for off- and on-load tap changers, voltage regulators, monitoring systems for Transformers), service report preparation - Customer technical support and advice, maintain good relationships with Customers - Preparation of quotations for spare parts and equipment - Qualified by the Company as “Premium Service Provider” for independent maintenance intervention

- Sales of LV electrical equipment (Control Panels by ADL; variable speed drives, soft starters and shaft power monitors by Emotron; protection relays by Fanox) - Single contact point for Customer (technical, commercial questions and contract follow-up), interface between Customer and Technical Departments of ADL / Equipment Vendors - Preparation of quotations, contract coordination with Customers, payments and delivery follow-up - Product presentations for internal staff as well as for distributors (soft starters), representing the company at trade fairs (Moscow) - Owner of Russian translation of the documents for dedicated products (e.g. operating manuals, quick guides, leaflets, presentations - for soft starters, shaft monitors)

- Installation of power cable routing (in pipes), testing of cable lines (contact resistance, isolation) - Repair and routine maintenance of AC / DC Motors (at Ural Steel Co.) - Preparation of test reports, measurement protocols, cost sheet and work acceptance certificates
