Projects: West Qurna-2 and Block 10 , Iraq

Was responsible person from the side of the Client for delivery of construction projects for the total amount over $60 mln. Projects delivered: earthworks over 500,000 m3, roads, culverts, well pads, pile foundations, steel structures, warehouse complex, administrative and accommodation buildings, utilities, incl. water supply and sewage, protection facilities over 35 km, supporting facilities.

- Assisted in preparation and execution of construction contracts (mainly EPC). Primary duties were: prepare assessment of existing facilities; estimate scope of works; prepare technical assignments; control over engineering surveys; review & approval of design documentation; coordinate tasks with allied departments; perform technical evaluation of bidders.

- Supervised and coordinated contractors on multiple construction projects. Primary duties: control over compliance of works with HSE procedures, design documentation, codes and standards; inspect incoming materials and structures; review contractors’ construction method statements (CMS); issue permits to work (PTW); verify scope of works (SOW) fulfilled; endorse as-built documentation; endorse time schedules; monitor contractors’ performance; establish site meetings; endorse progress reports. Organized commissioning of facilities.

- Conducted technical audits of contractors' production bases, precast yards, concrete and asphalt plants.

- Carried out collection and analysis of data related to capital construction projects. Prepared analytical reports and documents for arbitration.

- Developed design documentation for motorway bridges, culverts and retaining walls.

- Performed inspections of bridges, assessment of existing structures, and determination of bearing capacity.

- Performed structural analysis (including FEM). Designed a series of prestressed precast concrete beams.

Developed design documentation, construction execution plans and method statements for highway bridges and overpasses.

- Provided assistance to construction supervisor (construction of highway with bridges and tunnels).

- Provided assistance to geotechnical supervisor (monitoring of soil pressure, rocks stability, and hydrological conditions).
