Projects:
-Web-based application is for providing mobile brigades with prompt access to data of gas supply facilities, subunits and projected objects, various information and drawings in the pur-pose of automating production processes, exploitation, maintenance and an improvement of enterprise gas distribution network.
• Developed and launched automated UI tests for regression and build acceptance testing
• Searched web elements using Xpath requests and CSS Selectors
• Extracted properties and attributes of web elements and validated them by standard means of both Python and Selenium WebDriver tool
• Created and executed automated test for REST API testing of external information system that provides API for users’ authorization, the map representation, geo-searching, creation of objects, generating of mobile users’ list, properties and table views of both existing objects and ones found by coordinates using GET&POST methods and assessing server re-sponses in JSON and XML formats
• Built and kept up-to-date the structure of test automation from scratch using Python, Selenium tool and pytest framework
• Used DevTools for monitoring http requests&responses, console logs, debugging, performance, reviewing DOM elements, forming xpath&css requests as well as evaluating other settings (for example, cookies)
• Analyzed business requirements and suggested improvements to the product features
• Wrote test cases to cover main functional modules of the application and their interaction with database, meta-base/meta-base cache, cartographic cache database (fast representation of cartographic info) including Web API functionalities
• Developed test matrices for key functional modules and Web API with the purpose of covering main data combinations (objects, rights/roles of users, pressure types, radius of search area, print settings, dependence of object shapes and geo-positions on a map)
• Designed checklists for base functionalities and algorithms of the application such as login, representation of legends and layers, geo-searching, adding and displaying of users, coordinate search, table search, zooming, map navigation hydraulic analysis, workspaces and a ruler
• Utilized different test design techniques such as equivalence classes, boundary conditions, decision table, state transitional table and pairwise testing that allow to provide structured in-depth testing and find critical bugs based on resource constraints
• Executed regression testing after changes have been made to certain modules of the application that refers to features such as object representation on a map, drawing and editing objects, tools panel, geo-searching/coordinate search/table search, zooming, modification of object attributes (black & gray box)
• Tested every newly compiled build with the purpose of build acceptance testing to validate the efficiency of basic functionalities such as user authentication, enabling legends, map representation, zooming, geo-searching, coordinate/table/land registry search, displaying and modifying properties of objects (black & gray box)
• Responsible of acceptance testing before every release to validate a release candidate is good enough to go to production
• Provided new feature testing for newly developing features and accompanied them up to stable and acceptable working capability
• Performed Volume testing in compliance with optimization requirements that the system handles with certain amount of objects while utilizing various operations (creating, editing, saving, updating/reloading cartographic cache bases).
• Integrated cross-browser testing focused on users’ preferences (Google Chrome, MS Inter-net Explorer).
• Carried out GUI testing to avoid defects such as an incorrect elements highlighting on a map, miss of object signatures, overlapping, misalignment, wring sizes and styles, misprints etc.
• Conducted usability testing with the purpose of increasing usability of developing features by evaluating and correcting layout of elements, elements highlighting, errors/warnings/alerts, workflows of features and system performance.
• Realized ad hoc/exploratory testing at all the stages of software development life cycle
• Formed SQL-requests in dealing with a database, meta-base, cartographic cache database (fast representation of cartographic info) with the purpose of searching objects, validating events, values, connections, field sizes and types as well as modifying parameters in tables for testing process
• Analyzed logs for evaluating/searching errors and/or warnings with SQL requests assessment while interacting with a map, a cartographic data cache and other functional modules
• Located bugs of different priorities and minimized their steps to reproduce. Reported bugs via Team Foundation Server
• Participated in regular meetings and discussion
• Upgraded the web application on test and production environments using Git system
-Mobile android application is for providing mobile brigades with prompt access to data of gas supply facilities, subunits and projected objects, various information and drawings, as well as cartographic data of open sources.
• Executed regression testing functionalities such as users roles and rights of access, geo-search/table search/coordinate search, creating/editing violations, modifyingе objects on a map, creating photos for objects, loading/updating data cash for working in offline mode and recording/viewing GPS-tracks
• Developed test cases for creating/editing red layer functionality
