• Closed a $125m public equity investment in Russian stocks across metals & mining, fertilizer and FMCG sectors. Contributed capital markets & macro analysis, investment case, risks assessment, valuation, market and business analysis, etc. • Delivered an investment presentation for top mgmt on a special-situation PE opportunity in the aerospace sector, covering market analysis, financial modeling, risks and mitigants. To the best of my knowledge, the BoD Chairman has approved the project • Assessed numerous PE opportunities in agriculture, aerospace, M&M, oilfield equipment, fertilizer and retail sectors, by providing business analysis, financial modeling, structuring considerations, and go/no-go recommendations to senior colleagues • Delivered investment landscape of the Russian agriculture sector

DEALS • Contributed to 6 deals totaling $200m and involving debt and quasi-equity instruments in food and beverages, agriculture and retail in the CIS & Eastern Europe: - $65m debt refinancing deal with a Balkan food & beverages company - $50m quasi-equity expansion deal with a Ukrainian crops & milk company - $25m project-financing deal with a Ukrainian pork & crops company - $30m corporate loan deal with a Kazakh food & beverages company - $13m quasi-equity crisis-response deal with a Belorussian retail & wholesale company - $15m-eq. LCY convertible loan deal with Ukrainian subsidiaries of a global retail leader (received an individual performance award for this deal) • Interviewed top managers, performed financial modeling and business analysis, made investment committee materials, contributed to negotiating deal terms with clients, and helped draft transaction documents • Reviewed financial models prepared by colleagues for the investment committee BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT • Originated a $50m debt deal with a global leader in oilfield equipment • Designed financial models and provided analysis for new potential projects SUPPORT OF PORTFOLIO COMPANIES • Supported a portfolio of 8-13 client companies in retail, forestry, real estate mgmt, agriculture, food and beverages, FMCG, hospitality and medical services • Contributed to 7 deal/corporate restructurings. Suggested specific changes, provided supporting rationale, performed financial modeling and analysis, took part in negotiations, drafted or contributed to memos and legal documents • Drafted numerous waivers, consents and shareholder resolutions along with their justification • Updated credit risk reviews and financial models of portfolio companies on the quarterly basis • Contributed to comprehensive reviews assessing outcomes of 9 past deals (one of my reviews acknowledged as “best practice”)

• Performed in-depth analysis of 11 PE & VC projects in smart energy, biotech, biopolymers, oil & gas equipment and metal works with total deal volume of $700m • Contributed to all stages of project processing including origination, technology examination, markets and strategy assessment, financial modeling, risks assessment, investment presentations, negotiations, deal structuring and monitoring • Supervised teams of target companies and consultants in preparing technology, valuation and market reports for Rusnano’s technology and investment committees • My projects approved by the Board of Directors included: - $133m equity investment in a major oilfield equipment business (named Deal of Year 2011 by Preqveca Monthly) - $26m equity investment in a heating equipment JV with a leading Russian machinery producer
